bolivia
The Bolivian constitution was written by Simón Bolívar, and to honour him, the country took the name of Bolivia on August 11, 1825.
Bolivia may be one of South America's lesser-known destinations, but it's also one of the most authentic, where Andean traditions and colonial heritage blend in harmony. Situated between the Andes and the tropical plains, Bolivia offers visitors unique and contrasting landscapes, far from the tourist crowds, that are more than worth the adventure.
As well as the splendid Lake Titicaca, the link between Peru and Bolivia, this beautiful country invites you to discover its architectural treasures in La Paz and Sucre, its unspoilt natural sites such as the Uyuni salt flat and the Bolivian altiplano, not forgetting the Siloli desert and its famous Jewel Road. On an individual, private tour, Bolivia can be discovered in the company of a driver and/or guide, aboard a 4X4.
Your customers will be able to sleep in small-scale accommodation, simple or charming hotels, or even more upscale, old casonas, or experience authentic accommodation in stone or salt hotels... This country, so atypical and preserved, is an excellent complement to a trip to Peru, even if it deserves a month of discovery on its own!
