Itinerary

Day 1 - Paraty: arrival

Departure for Paraty.

Arrival and check-in at hotel.

Paraty lies halfway between Rio de Janeiro (258 kilometers) and São Paulo (290 kilometers), on the coast of Ilha Grande Bay. Tropical forests, mountains and waterfalls rise up to 1,300 meters behind the city. Paraty is the southernmost and westernmost city in the state of Rio de Janeiro. A testament to Portuguese colonial architecture, it is also a popular tourist stopover. The streets are washed by the sea during the tides. The architecture combines influences from Europe, Asia, such as raised roofs, and Africa, with moucharabieh windows.

Early evening departure for a city tour with Caïpirinha tasting.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 - Paraty Bay cruise

After breakfast, you'll leave for a cruise on the city's waters.

Lunch on the cruise.

Return and free afternoon.

Dinner in a Bahian restaurant.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - Jeep excursion: waterfalls and stills, cachaça tasting

After breakfast, departure for a 4x4 jeep tour of Serra da Bocaina National Park. 

Lunch before returning to the hotel to enjoy your late afternoon.

Day 4 - Paraty: return

After breakfast, departure for Rio airport for your return flight.
