Itinerary

Day 1 - Rio: Arrival

Arrival at Rio de Janeiro international airport.

Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel (private transfer, with guide english-speaking).

Check-in at hotel (room available early afternoon)

Meals on your own.

Day 2 - Rio: a carnival experience

Breakfast at the hotel.

Costume fitting & adjustment.

Lunch at Carretão Ipanema

Introducing Carnival & Behind the Scenes.

Dinner.

Departure for the Sambodrome and parade (in disguise) through one of the day's schools.

Day 3 - Rio: Corcovado & Pão de Açúcar

Breakfast.

Visit the Corcovado, located in the Tijuca National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, at the top of which is the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, inaugurated in 1931 and a symbol of peace.

Lunch at Fronteira Ipanema.

Visit the Sugar Loaf, offering spectacular panoramic views of Rio, Guanabara Bay, Corcovado, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and the Atlantic Ocean.

Dinner.

Day 4 - Rio: carnival in the streets

Breakfast.

In the morning, visit the street blocos

Lunch.

Afternoon cycling tour of the beaches: Copacabana, Ipanema, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.

Tasting a Caipirinha: Enjoy the sunset on Arpoador Rock, where Cariocas come to watch the sun set.

Dinner on your own.

Day 5: Paraty

Breakfast.

Private transfer with guide Rio/ Paraty (5-hour drive)

Lunch in Paraty and guided tour of the city.

Dinner.

Day 6 - Paraty Bay

Breakfast.

Day cruise.

Lunch on the cruise.

Dinner.

Day 7 - Return to Rio

Breakfast.

Free morning to wander the streets.

Lunch on your own.

Return to Rio for overnight stay. Dinner on your own.

Day 8: Sambodrome en loge

Breakfast.

Free day and lunch in Rio.

Evening & Overnight at the sambodrome in a lodge with dinner included.

Return to your hotel in the early morning.

Day 9: return

Breakfast.

Last day in Rio: airport transfer or optional extension.

Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
